 "Blazing Saddles"
(1974 - USA)

Daring, provocative, and laugh-out-loud funny, Blazing Saddles is a gleefully vulgar spoof of Westerns that marks a high point in Mel Brooks' storied career.

The film is an intelligent satire that touches on so many of the aspects of the time it portrays and the time it was made. It makes fun of racism against not just African Americans, but also Chinese rail workers, Irish immigrants, and Native Americans during the era.
Mel Brooks and Richard Pryor's great writing makes this film just as funny and relevant today.

1 hrs, 35 min.
